A bound volume of 12 monthly issues of this uncommon Regency-era magazine for women, spanning January to December, 1815. Featuring articles covering general interest stories, the arts, music, 'society' life and contemporary fashion. Bound in contemporary half-calf with marble paper sides and gold lines across the spine. Extremities of the binding rubbed. Front hinge split halfway along its length. Back hinge split along its whole length, but with the covers still firmly attached. A vertical split to the spine has caused the text block to be almost split into two parts. Upper head cap partially rubbed away. Otherwise, a clean copy with bright hand colouring, with the binding in fair condition.
