The Pearl John Steinbeck

The First Edition Library's perfect facsimile of the Steinbeck parable, identical in every way to the Viking original. The book appears new and resists opening. The dust jacket has a tiny bit of wear visible along top edge and a tiny white dot near base of spine, still fine. The slipcase has a very small ding at lower edge, otherwise as new. A very nice copy. Photos are the best descriiption. First Edition Library Facsimiles had the same weight, size, typeface, art, dust jacket, finish and texture as the originals. Even mistakes (all first edition points are present) were duplicated The series is now out of print and these facsimiles are collectible in their own right. The publisher's slip describing first edition points and other information about the book is prized by collectors and this book has it.
