Both volumes have clean covers, no fading, no previous owner marks or writing on any pages, no foxing, solid bindings. The original dust jackets on both volumes have light edge wear, one 5mm tear, original printed prices on front flap corners. The volumes measure 223mm tall x 148mm tall, and has 358 pages, b/w photos (poor quality), 4 folding maps (none lacking for this issue, but original 1928 edition had more maps); volume two has 363 pages, b/w photos (poor quality = look like newspaper photos), index.
