Mid 18th century engraved map with attractive hand color. Notice the strange extension of northern Japan joining Yedso with an undefined coastline. Beside this is the apocryphal "Company's Land" island, also shown with an unknown coastline. Remains a nice looking example with a pleasing age patina.
