Numerous settlements are labeled according to their respective population sizes - the presence of Katherine, NT, and lack of Tarraleah, Tas indicates the base map was likely created between 1926 and 1934. Red overprinting has been applied somewhat later, presumably by the advertised firm of J.C. Drury (Wool) Proprietary Limited.
