Woodblock print. Image measures approximately 15" x 19" on 20" x 24¾" paper. Modest general wear and soil, some light staining (most pronounced in the bottom right corner, beneath Shahn's signature; affecting the right edge of the print but only noticeable on the blank verso), an about very good copy. Signed by Shahn along with his chop mark, and also Signed by printer Stefan Martin. Copy 130 of 300 printed. The striking woodblock print is based on Shahn's ink portrait of King that appeared on the cover of *Time* on March 19, 1965, 12 days after what is now known as Bloody Sunday. (N.B. also published in an edition with text by King beneath the portrait.).
