A very good book without inscriptions with spotting to the page edges in very good unclipped wrapper with some light loss to the top of the front panel and some wear to the edges and corners. Accompanying the book is a two page letter signed and from Peter Padfield discussing Captain Lord and the role the SS Californian played (or didn't) in the rescue mission to save Titanic. A very interesting read and a lovely ephemeral extra
