Marbled paper covered boards with leather corners and spine. Outer joints and inner hinges repaired with brown tissue both volumes. A few page tears to the preliminaries in volume 1 patched. Volume II both covers were re attached using tissue. Hinge broken in back of volume 2 but the cover is secured. Rear flyleaf partially stuck to the rear paste down volume II. Interior contents clean both volumes. Armorial bookplates of F. Fairfax Best Wiarton" on both front paste downs. Name of George Best, Esq. written on the right front flyleaves both volumes. A third volume published in 1791 is exceedingly rare. The author describes his time in Georgia with Oglethorpe in the years 1735-36. Volumes are in fair condition only. Howes T 157.
