Turret Books. 1966. Paperback - limited to 1000 copies only. Yellow wrapps. This copy belonged to Eve, Durrell's second wife, who was in Cairo and Greece over the time this memoir was written about. Two illustrations, a facsimile of the contents page of the first issue of the magazine, "Personal Landscape January 1942" that contained work by Fedden and Durrell and a photograph of Lawrence Durrell, taken by John Waller. Inside front cover is written in black ink, "Eve's copy 1990" and then in green felt pen, "Penny, for you Dearest Eve 1993." A very magical association copy which belonged to both Lawrence Durrell's wife and daughter.
