Ideas Of Good And Evil (Signed) W.B. Yeats

This collection of essays on art and literature, is signed and dated (Feb. 10, 1914) by Yeats on title page. (He was on a lecture tour of the U.S. and Canada from Feb. 9 to March 26.) Inscribed by Julia Ellsworth Ford (a NY socialite who presided over a salon including Khalil Gibran, Isadora Duncan, Yeats and his father) to poet Witter Bynner (longtime resident of Santa Fe, friend of Georgia O'Keefe and D.H. Lawrence), who collaborated with Ford on the book Snickerty Nick, and whose bookplate is present. Front hinge repaired at some point. Damage to top of spine. (See photos.) No physical evidence of the fact--you'll just have to take my word for it--that this book later belonged to poet Robert Bly, who became a poet, as he often said, because of his admiration for Yeats.
