Folio oversize HC in 1/4 leather backed spine and corners with marbled paper covered sides . 52 weekly issues bound together with a special engraved title page. This copy lacks the 5 steel engraved plates that are called for; a number of small woodcuts in text, usually beneather masthead. Each issue includes a new musical piece with notation as the final page. Leather creased and stress over spine with chipping and shallow loss at spine ends. Joints tender but still holding. Red leather label to cover has prior owner's names scratched away. Moderate damp stain across the bottom front corner of the final 25 or so issues; scattered foxing and light spotting. One page observed with a small area clipped away. Some signatures starting at front. General index of contents at rear. Good only . Oversize book likely to require additional charges for expedited or international shipping.
