A recreational subdivision proposal, put forth by the Yellowknife District, Northwest Lands & Forest Service in July, 1976. The report is bound in a Duo-Tang folder with a paste on label to upper cover, 4to size (11 inches tall), pp. 11 [pagination and text printed recto only], plus 2 maps at rear and 1 at front. The three maps show the proposed subdivision and proposed access road, a conceptual plan and an aerial view which pinpoints the locations of the subdivision and access road. Illustrated with eleven original 3.5 x 5 inch color photos, all dated June 1976. Light wear to covers, else a fine, unmarked copy. An uncommon and environmentally important source document, fortuitously recording here a literal snapshot view of the state of Pontoon Lake and surrounds, as seen on the ground in mid-1976.
