The trip was in the area north and west of the Crowsnest Pass of Southern Alberta and with the objective to view large quantities of Mountain Goats in this still virgin area. John Phillips had been there before and offered his guidance of what to see and when. The area was also open for hunting still with a permit. Phillips was also an experienced photographer and did not use a telephoto lens to get the amazing close images of Sheep on the mountain sides. Not a rare book but getting difficult to find a copy of the first edition in this kind of condition.
