1848. No edition remarks. No dust jacket. Beige marbled boards half bound in brown leather. Contains 6 catalogues: 1846, 1847 parts 1 and 2, 1848 parts 1 to 3. Includes items from collections of Robert Southey, Horace Walpole etc. All part are paginated individually. Pages are lightly tanned and thumbed at the edges, with creased corners and foxing. Hinges are cracked with a loose binding, and several loose pages. Sporadic moderate foxing. Boards have been moderately rub worn. Noticeable shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are bumped and a little peeled. Spine ends are crushed, with noticeable rubbing. Large water stain to spine leather. Spine title label is loose.
