It bears her stamp "Write First, Then Live." J.J. on a blank front endpaper. Mr. Hzieh, a performance artist extraordinaire, tested the limits of human experience over a lifetime of creating and then following through with concept art that demanded singleness of purpose and extraordinary discipline to execute to completion. His projects have become synonymous with the experimentation of the 70's. Several of those projects are captured in stark black and white photographs included in this book.
