This is the third book of the series and the author states that this will likely be the last of the series but.as we all know, this was definitely not the last as children asked for more. The stories were borrowed from various countries, some are French, some German, some Russian and more. Bound in green cloth pictorially stamped in gilt depicting a woman riding a dragon. pictorial gilt spine, all edges gilt. only very light wear to spine ends and corners, front and rear free endpapers have browning, previous owner's gift inscription dated 1913.
