First US edition, number 1 of 30 copies only, signed with initials by John Quinn, this being his own copy. The Irish American lawyer John Quinn (1870-1924) first met Lady Gregory and other friends of W. B. Yeats on his first trip to Ireland in 1902. Quinn would become a major patron of the Celtic Revival and, at a later stage, was in an intense relationship with Lady Gregory. Wrappers frayed at extremities with some minor loss, text block loosening, tear to fifth leaf, some uniform browning, still a very good copy of a rare pamphlet.
