First edition of this book length study of the astrological forces at play upon the Bröntes, including gorgeously designed charts for each. The binding on this copy is lightly cracked between pp. 128-129, but still square and holding sturdily. The top edge, and to a lesser extent the fore edge show pronounced spotting, but is clean within, with only some faint foxing to prelims. In the scarce original dust jacket, designed in black and gilt, which is worn and lightly foxed, with marginal chipping and closed tears and some unnecessary tape repairs to verso, but which presents well. A difficult book to find in the original jacket or in pleasing condition.
