Dark navy cloth covered boards with gilt-stamped lettering and graphics on spine; front and back board panels have blind fillet borders. Small scuffs on front and back panels, else clean. Text on spine is crisp. Faded tinting on upper external page edges. Side and lower page edges are age- and soil-darkened and with faint signs of foxing. 8vo. [xii], 408pp. Edges and corners at head and tail of board spine are crimped. Faint shadow-transfers on end papers. Text pages are age-toned. Internally clean with no marks or tears. Text block is snug. Dust jacket is sunned and soiled overall, heavier on spine and folds. Folds are creased and scuffed but not rubbed through except for a small amount of loss on the fore-edge corners. Edges at head and tail of jacket spine are chipped and rubbed; loss of approx. 1/4" on back corner at head of spine; closed vertical tear of 1/4" on back corner at tail of spine along the spine fold, and three tiny closed tears of less than 1/8" along head of jacket spine. Several chips and closed tears along upper edges of front and back panels. Inside front flap has a 2 7/8" by 2" clip.
