1831 The Ladies' Pocket Magazine: Parts 1&2

Original antique 1831 2 volume set of The Ladies' Pocket Magazine. The books are cumulatively illustrated with total of 24 hand colored fashion plates (some of which are folding), 2 hand colored royal plates (one of King William the Fourth and one of Queen Adelaide) and a few other black and white engravings. The set is generally in very good condition with some typical signs of wear and age. The covers have some scuffing and mild wear. The bindings are good and sound. The interiors are lightly toned from age with some occasional light foxing & grubbiness. There are some tiny tears to some of the folding plates and one of the folding plates is missing about an inch at the bottom (the folding part) which just consists of the lady's feet and the caption. There is a fairly modern bookplate adhered to the front pastedown of each volume. Along with that there may be the occasional page with some kind of other minor imperfection. The books are fairly small in size and measures approximately 5 3/4 inches by 3 1/2 inches. Part 1 is 183 pages long and Part 2 is 244.
