These charts show areas that have likely undergone significant changes due to modifications and recessions of coastal lands, making them fascinating to anyone interested in local geography and history. Sold folded as issued. This map is of particular importance since since this is the first appearance of J. Whistler in art.ÂÂ He went to work briefly for the U.S. Coast Survey. His name is printed at the bottom of this map as the Engraver. This map measures 11.5 inches by 9 inches.
