Ex-W.H. Smiths library copy. Boards have quite a bit of surface wear and discolouration. Staining in a number of places on the front and rear panels. Rubbing and bumping to the corners. Three quarter inch tear to the top of the spine next to the front panel with a lighter half inch tear at the bottom. The spine is darkened and discoloured. Page edges are browned and worn. Library label on front pastedown. Previous owner's name and date in ink on the half-title page. Spotting to the endpapers and the first few pages. The pages are lightly browned with stains and marks in a number of places but they are generally unmarked. No jacket. 24 page catalogue at the rear. First printing.
