The Colonel And Little Missie: Buffalo Bill, Annie Oakley, And The Beginnings Of Superstardom In America [Signed, Numbered] Mcmurtry, Larry Fiction,Texas Author
Non-fiction, issued in a limited edition of 75 numbered. The limited edition was created by adding a rubberstamped limitation notice to the front blank of copies of the first trade printing. While McMurtry owned a large bookstore in Archer City, he didn't typically sell his own books. Instead, he arranged for the nearby Three Dog Books to offer them for sale. For a number of years, they issued these signed limited editions with each new McMurtry book. 245 pages. First edition (first printing). A fine copy in a fine dust jacket. Numbered, and signed by the author. This copy comes in Robert Wang's custom slipcase, which was available to supplement the limited edition, to match the early volumes in the series, which had lettered copies in slipcases.
