Blue blind-stamped cloth series binding with gilt sp. lettering and central logo to fr. unfolding f/piece + xliii + blue tinted map on verso xliii as f/piece to main text + 209, one further text map and plate ex--pagination; no obvious internal problems but top edge of text-block densely flecked with small tanning spots, fore-edge also has a few same. Main text reprints 5 contemporary accounts, 3 very short. The first 4 apparently all published together in 1606, t.p. of first main title 'The Last East-Indian Voyage' pub. by Walter Buurre, and the fifth, with long title beginning 'An Exact Discourses of the Subtilties, Fashions . of the East Indians . ' by Edmund Scott seperately issued same year by same publisher. This has proto-anthropological observations of East Indian cultures. t.p. has this as a 'New and enlarged edition' so presumably a revision of previously issued Hakluyt title.
