Snugly bound and neat in original Henry Pitz designed, wraparound pictorial dust jacket with publisher's $2.50 issue price intact to unclipped front flap. 2nd state of the 1st edition with pictorial endpages and 1st state of the dust jacket with "Falcons of France" ad to rear panel and blurb from front flap continuing to the rear flap. Blue cloth with spine lettering and pictorial design to cover and spine brightly in silver. Cloth a little shelf rubbed rubbed and darkened base of spine; a trifle only of fading at spine. Prior owner name penned neatly top edge of the half-title page. Jacket with shallow nicks at the crown of the spine panel and light rubbing top front corners. Spine and rear panels lightly to moderately toned. Solid handsome copy of the classic fictional treatment of the infamous mutiny, the basis for several film adaptations. VG+/VG or better
