Circa 189-? a Very nice 10 x 8 1/2" photograph with cowboys leading herd. The landscape is unidentified but is like several Texas examples at the National Cowboy and Western Museum. The rounded W brand is difficult to identify since there have been over 20,000 cattle brands in the state. In very good condition with a piece torn away to upper right corner with light crease. Getty images show a brand very close to this, but it also comes from a collection that is unidentified. This image with six cowboys in the foreground and another half dozen in the back appears to be unique because large photographs in this era were taken in a very limited number for family members with no wider distribution.
