diptyque L'Ombre dans l’Eau EDT 50 ml is a floral feminine eau de toilette. In her garden, Mrs. Merwin, a friend of the creators of diptyque, cut the cassis and rose bushes to add the petals of the latter to her potpourri. The combination of cassis leaves and rose petals inspired one of diptyque's most famous fragrances. This perfume was developed in 1983; the top notes are characterized by Bulgarian rose, complemented by the green notes of cassis leaves, which give it a pleasant freshness. The shadows in its name are balanced by the freshness, reminiscent of a lush garden by the water.
