This is Volume 1 No 2 of the Psychoanalytic Inquiry which focuses on commentaries on John Gedo's 'Beyond Interpretation' We see Beyond Interpretation as offering a seasoned and detailed proposal. The essayists have been chosen for their well-established competence and differences in background from the author and from each other. This issue of Psychoanalytic Inquiry consists of six essays written in response to Gedo's ideas. In tum Gedo responds to the essayists.
