T- Bone - The Baby-Sitter Newberry, Clare Turlay

1951 Caldecott Honor book. Assumed first edition since not other date noted except copyright date of 1950. Red cloth covers are worn on corners and spine ends and bottom edge. Black imprinted drawing of baby and T-Bone on front cover are well defined and unmarred except for a light streak of dried glue on bottom of front board. Binding is firm despite age. Interior pages have a few closed tears, llight soiling and wrinkling on bottom of pages.; clearly this book was read but is complete and no stray marks. Full page illustrations of Cat and Baby are unmarred and beautiful in classic Newberry drawing style. This is an ex-lib with a library stamps on 3 pages and the remains of a paste down on back EPs .
