Light shelf wear to the cloth binding. This copy has extensive hand written notes, diagrams, names, and descriptions in pencil on all 4 end sheets. 16 of 17 pages in the register for the Army of the Potomac has added names of officers serving in the Union army. Apparently this copy was used by a student or someone with extensive knowledge of the battle (or possibly a soldier, professor, etc). There are named Corps with drawn Corps badges, battlefield diagrams, aforementioned list of officers, soldiers, printed correction sheet, etc. The name "Beard" and date of 1910 is written in the center of the right front flyleaf. No date or printer listed for this book. Internet references date this publication in 1915. Not in Nevins.
