Publisher's purple cloth extravagantly decorated in black, blue and gilt to upper board. Titles in black and gilt to spine, blind-tooling to lower. Bevelled edges, all edges gilt. Cream endpapers. Publisher's advertisements to spine. Moderate spotting to preliminaries and rear leaves, minor spotting and marking throughout. Light toning/spotting to endpapers. Some gentle toning to upper board and spine, two small wear marks to lower. Light rubbing to joints, light shelfwear. Very good. A fine edition of Hood's poetry, and the last engraved work of William Miller.
