The Space Circus, an enormous top in a bubble, traverses the byways of the known universe, providing entertainment to sentient lifeforms everywhere. Attacked by those no-goodniks, the Space Pirates of Salgari-7, the Circus touches down for repairs on a backwater planet called Earth. There, they acquire a stowaway, young Todd Cooper. Wackiness ensues as Todd meets killer Klowns, sentient gorillas and the two-headed Doodah Brothers, and decides to throw in with the Circus as they fight the pirates and preserve mirth and merriment throughout the galaxy. A delightful sci-fi take on the old fantasy of running away to join the circus, the real star in this 3-ring comic is cartoonist Sergio Aragonés, whose irrepressible style gives hilarious life to an endearing collection of interstellar freaks and geeks.
