Approx. 21.5" x 14.5" (540mm x 370mm) overall. He worked alongside other artists including his wife Elizabeth, William Hart, Henry Richter, Joseph Wolf and the multi-talented Edward Lear. The magnificent plates are appreciated as much for their artistic quality as for their ornithological accuracy and many reproductions flood the market.
