Nineteen Eighty-Four Orwell, George

Rest Edition from 1950. Originally published by Secker in 1949 with two reprints in 1950. The spine is heavily darkened with browning and staining in places and chipping at the top and bottom with some loss to the cloth at the edges. The front panel has some patches of discolouration along the top edge, two small stains towards the bottom where there is some creasing near the bottom right corner and some smaller marks here and there on the surface. Similar marking and discolouration to the rear panel which also has a vertical crease down its length and a bumping to the top edge which has left creasing along its length. There is a little browning to the page edges with a small stain to the fore edges near the bottom corner and there is some creasing to the bottom corners of several pages. Previous owner's name across the centre of the front free endpaper. Light browning to the pages which are otherwise clean and unmarked. No jacket.
