Red full straight-grained morocco with gilt decoration to boards and gilt lettering and devices to spines; a.e.g.; marbled endpapers. Some rubbing and very light bumping to extremities. Bookplate of William Forbes Morgan, of the Morgan family, to pastedowns. Some ink ownership marks to prelims of first volume. Internally clean otherwise. The second volume includes the plates of the Swimming Lady and Lady Godiva, which were surpressed in later editions and are often missing. A lovely set. 12mo.
