Lansinoh Nipple Shaping Pump

The Lansinoh LatchAssistTM nipple pump helps mothers gently pull the nipple out for the time it takes for baby to grasp the nipple and areola and latch on properly, the first step to successful breastfeeding.Simple, effective and easy to use with one hand, the pump delivers the perfect solution to what can be a problem for new mums. The LatchAssistTM nipple shaping pump is packaged in a small pouch for even better hygiene and portability. When the baby cannot latch on well, breastfeeding becomes frustrating and uncomfortable for the mother and baby.In the first days after the birth of the baby, mothers usually get engorged and sometimes swollen breasts. This is a temporary condition, but it can make breastfeeding more difficult to manage and uncomfortable. Mothers often find that their skin has stretched so much that nipples that normally protrude are now flat. Flat nipples make it more difficult for the baby to latch on. If the baby is unable to hold the flat nipple in the mouth in the correct position and despite his efforts, he is not getting enough breast milk.
