This title was originally published in 1891, with the title "Cocktail Boothby's American Bar-Tender" Additional editions were published in 1930 and 1934. By the last printing the original four hundred recipes had expanded to seventeen hundred concoctions. This present printing has a section at rear titled: New Up To Date Seductive American Cocktails and includes the directions for mixing such drinks as - Za Za, York, Sazerac, Tin Roof, Turf, Rex, Rob Roy, Poi, Orgeat, Pink Garter, Naval, Baldhead, Bordever Cocktails, etc. Earlier entries include Coffee Cocktail, Bronx, Turf, Poi, Mikado, etc. A very scarce printing of this classic guide. A Very Good attractive example of this title, some minor loss at spine ends, nick at front spine edge, else very clean.
