Nrf2 And Its Modulation In Inflammation

Nrf2, a transcription factor that mediates transcriptional responses to oxidative and xenobiotic stresses, plays a central role in cellular protection against internal or external toxins. Defects in Nrf2 and the relevant regulatory pathways are associated with a number of pathologies including inflammation, respiratory diseases, cardiovascular dysfunctions, metabolic syndrome and diabetes, neurodegeneration, and cancer.
