Strahan. 1804, 135 pp, 9.26” x 6”, 8vo, hardcover original boards with rebacked spine. In good rebacked condition, with superficial rubbing and wear to exterior, primarily along edges and corners. Hinges remain in good condition and text block remains bound well. Light markings and marginalia, primarily at front. Nicely illustrated with six aquatint plates throughout. A scarce piece following the death of its author, William Gilpin (1724-1804) earlier that same year.
