Previously owned by a Historical Museum, as noted by a donation label on the front pastedown, and an inked note on the rear pastedown of each volume; there are no other library markings. Some wear at the spine extremities and corners. Wear, creasing along the backstrips. Staining/freckling, and some surface rubbing to the boards. Each shaken. There is no title page in V2; all else appears to be present. There is an old taped tear on the title page of V1, and a partial inkstamp of a previous owner at the top of this page. Three pages are detached (and edgeworn in the margins) in V1; but present. The fold-out map is present in V1, but it is detached, and is split along the folds, and edgewear in the margins. Pages are age-darkened. Else pages clean. Illustrated.
