Stated First Edition with unique Random House number line to 2 (indicating a first printing). Flat-signed by Andy Rooney on the title page. You can see the covers in the photos. They are exceptionally clean. The white lettering on the spine looks very good. There is just a tiny bit of crinkling at the top edge of the spine. There's one small spot of superficial rubbing on the rear cover. The cover edges and corners are in excellent shape, no rubbing. The page edges look very good. The middle one is deckled or rough-cut. They did a very good job. The book is square and the spine is straight. The binding is very solid from cover to cover with nicely tight pages throughout and nicely tight covers as well. The pages are exceptionally clean. Scrolling through, I'm not finding any instances of soiling. I'm not finding any creasing. There are no markings. No attachments of any kind. And the author's signature is the only writing to be found anywhere. You can see the dust jacket in the first few photos. I have always had it in a fitted protective cover. It's exceptionally clean, and I don't see any edge tears. The white flaps are also exceptionally clean. The jacket is neatly price-clipped at the top corner of the front flap. You can see part of the lettering on 'U.S.' and 'Canada' in front of where the clipped price had been. There are no clips at any of the other corners.
