"First American edition, from the fourth London edition, corrected, in three volumes." 8vo. Vol I: [xxxi] 426pp. Vol II: 427pp. Vol III: 435pp. of which the first 53 are poems. After the last Index page 435 there are 11 pages of subscribers, alphabetical and by state. Vol I has a frontispiece of Laurentius Medices, with tissue-guard. All volumes include a FFEP, one blank page, a half title page, and a title page. Good only books. All are missing spines and bindings are exposed. All board panels are soiled and stained. Only the upper edges are trimmed. External edges are age- and soil-darkened and foxed. Text pages are foxed to some extent. All volumes have stains in the upper margins, generally toward the last half or less of each book. On Vol I, the front board panel, FFEP, and one blank page are loose.
