The name Krem is short for the artist Irwin Kremen (artist associated with the Black Mountain School which Oppenheimer also attended. Kremen also held close associations with MC Richards, John Cage and Merce Cunningham). Black Mountain association copies are few and far between for Oppenheimer publications.
